Radiator Service

With more demands placed on efficient burning of fuel in modern motor vehicles, the vehicles radiators have become more integral to the vehicles cooling system and engine management.

Modern radiators are developed in steel, alloy and plastics.

As a result of this new technology, cooling systems are filled with special coolants designed to decrease corrosion and improve the systems efficiency.

Operating temperatures run just below boiling point so they must be kept in premium working condition.

A blocked radiator will eventually cause extensive and expensive damage to your vehicles engine, often resulting in a partial or complete rebuild.

At Future Auto Service Centres radiators are visually inspected for

• Cracks and leaks

• Correct operation

• Pressure tested (If required)

• Correct operation of radiator cap

• Correct operation of recovery tank

NB: Never remove a hot radiator cap

The pressure and heat from the system will cause extreme burns.
